Maharishi Dayanand University is a deemed University located at Rohtak, Haryana. M.D.U. was passed in an act in the Haryana Legislative Assembly and entrenched in 1975, was also called Rohtak University. It was establishd in 1976 on the name of great Dayanand Saraswati and was ultimately titled Maharshi Dayanand University. It’s purpose of establishment was to entrust high qualitative education especially in life sciences and ecology. As of now M.D.U. has 77 conjecture courses on ground, 13 faculties and 27 P.G. divisions. The results are declared two times for different kinds of courses in one academic year.

The results can be checked on which is the official website for checking the undergraduate results. The University is having an extra campus located at Gurgaon in the University Institute of Law and Management Studies (UILMS), which is given “A” rating in Aug. 2013 by the NY NAAC.

In April 2013, a college located at Rewari district was only deemed as College having former name The Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Regional Center or IGPGRS as Indira Gandhi University. Not only the college was rated as “A” grade by the NAAC in the Aug. of 2013 but also ranked #44 by the Ministry of H.R.D. of Central Government.


The location of the college is about Seventy Five Km from NH-10 or Forty Seven Miles and about Two Hundred and Forty Km or One Hundred and Fifty miles from Chandigarh.

The enlightening center is at Rohtak; the institute also conducts courses via its Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Center, Meerpur at Rewari and also University Institute of Law and Management Studies (ULIMS), Gurgaon.

The Regional Center extends 9 PG projects whereas UILMS extends 2. IIM Rohtak is also currently engaged in MDU Campus. As per the MOU tagged between IIM Rohtak and Maharishi Dayanand University, the students as well as the faculties of IIM Rohtak will have allowance to every resources of the institute.

The University Campus has an impressive and high-tech. Campus with huge knowledge resources. This can be predicted by its OFC and Wi-Fi network. Each offices/work-stations/hostels are inter-linked to the Campus Network.

MDU consists of a Computer Center at the disposal of  every student, analysts researchers, teacher and other faculties.

This Computer Center is also used for showing self-development and motivational bulletins to each faculty in order to instil encouragement and excellence. Personal computers are provided to all the major part of the work place except the focal office.


Maharishi Dayanand University offers programs that provides Four-year courses such as Bachelor of Technology (or B.Tech.). The PG courses includes Masters in computer Applications, Masters in Technology or M.Tech, Masters in Science and Doctorate courses.

Maharishi Dayanand University has scholars as much as 1700000 in number along with 126 high education institutes and schools under its grand affiliation. Not only Pharmacy institutes but also it has several engineering and administrative colleges. The body known as Directorate of Distance Education has in its control more than 50,000 students which are in Twenty Four different kinds of technical or business programs. #Bachelor of Technology

A B.Tech or a “Bachelor of Technology” which is a 4-year program is a technical degree which can be provided by an authorized college possessing a valid licence and establishment.

Each academic year of B.Tech is divided into 2 semesters. Each semester extends for a period of Twenty-Four weeks. The period of August-December marks the odd semester and the period of January-May marks even semester. For B.Tech., the MDU Result is declared anywhere between April-September.


Examinations are conducted at the term of each semester apart from in the case of the 7th semester in which there is a Twenty-Four week dedicated only for thorough preparation. The exams for all semesters are usually conducted in December-January and May-June.

The examinations consists of:

1.) Written examinations – The exam is 100 marks exam containing of 5 questions carrying 20 marks each. One question is split into 10 questions of 2 marks each. Remaining 4 questions are parted. Every part has two-three questions for decision. The examination is written on thirty-six page answer sheet.

2.) Sessionals– Sessional for each of the subjects are observed by the subject faculty by the assignments/projects completed throughout the semester. 50 marks test paper is made.

3.) Training – On the 8th semester the students have to do an internship/industrial training for a period of Six months. The students can work temporarily at a firm/company of their branch. At the term of the semester the student have to show their capability and the learning that they have got during the training peroid.


MDU Result of Bachelor of Technology is mostly shown on MDU’s authentic website. MDU result are declared after about 3 months from when the exams took place. The period of August-December marks the odd semester, hence, it’s result is declared at around April/May and the period of January-May marks even semester, hence its result is declared around September. The final marksheet of MDU result is found from the marks obtained in both sessional and written examinations.

  3. Select your degree/course and and a PDF will be opened having the details of your datesheet.
  4. You can save the datasheet by right-clicking on it or on keyboard, Ctrl+S.
  5. YourMDU result it seen.

  2. You are presently diverted to another page having a basic frame with two fields.
  3. Fill in your enrollment number and yourMDU exam move number.
  4. Tap on continue now and you’ll be requested that fill a couple subtle elements like email id and telephone number.
  5. Fill in the subtle elements and tap on view.
